We collect the minimum needed to prepare your documents, and we tell you exactly what that is.
Who we are

What we collect
- Enquiry and form data — name, email address, document type and the content of your message, received when you email us or use the contact form. Form submissions are stored in the site’s content-management database (enquiry archive) and notified to us by email; enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted.
- Engagement data — the information you put in questionnaires and the documents you send us, to the extent needed to prepare drafts or reviews.
- Service records — invoices and payment references for completed work.
Why we process it
To answer enquiries, prepare and deliver the documents you request, keep the records of the engagement, and meet accounting obligations. The legal bases are performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in running the service.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become engagements are deleted within 6 months. Engagement records, including drafts you did not use, are kept for 7 years to meet accounting and record-keeping obligations, then deleted.
Who receives it
Nobody, except processors that host our email and accounting tools under contract, and — where you ask for a referral — the licensed lawyer you choose, with your agreement. We do not sell data and we do not use it for advertising.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correction, deletion where we hold no overriding obligation, and restriction of processing. Email info@aprilflowerslegal.services and we respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
